The Intelligent Loading Machine was inspired by the need for cleaner, more efficient methods of transporting bulk materials. Traditional transport methods have been identified as major sources of urban pollution. In response, some cities have adopted fully enclosed transportation methods, such as bulk container transportation. However, conventional loaders are unable to meet the demands of this new mode of transportation, sparking the need for a more innovative solution.

Yong Zhang's Intelligent Loading Machine fills this gap with its unique design and advanced features. Equipped with a spiral roll, a material lifting conveyor belt, a multi-stage conveyor belt, an excavating arm, and an excavating shovel, this machine can perform a variety of tasks. It can dig, scrape, lift materials with a spiral dragon, and convey materials with a multi-stage belt. The machine's intelligent control system allows for precise, preset tonnage loading, ensuring full-load transportation without overloading.

The Intelligent Loading Machine is not just innovative in its functions but also in its design realization technology. It employs intelligent screen operation for the entire machine operation, combining electrical design control with a powerful hydraulic control system to realize all functions. This machine can load one truck in 7-10 minutes and can load 450 tons per hour, significantly improving loading efficiency and reducing transportation costs.

The Intelligent Loading Machine was designed and developed in Fushun and Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China, between October 2016 and October 2018. The design team, which included ChangAn Wang, Qi Qiao, Rongren Li, Menghua Wang, Zhe Li, Qian Zang, Yunhao Wang, Xiaoxin Wang, and Maowen Xin, faced and overcame numerous creative, technical, and research challenges to realize this design.
